Turnwell
A game of trust. In development.
Turnwell is a cozy card game for two players, ages 8 and up, from Whoa Bro, LLC. It is a game of life, cooperation, trust, and reciprocity — learn what it means to live your best life.
Turnwell is a small hillside town, the kind of place where everyone takes turns at the town well. You and one neighbor live out your years there, side by side. Each year you make one quiet choice — SHARE or TAKE — and over a lifetime those choices become the life you read at the end.
Life is not zero-sum. There are returns to cooperation in the iterated game of life. Inspired by Robert Axelrod's The Evolution of Cooperation (1984): be nice, be provokable, be forgiving, be clear.
The town's crest bears the motto Manus manum lavat — one hand washes the other.
